The Kingdom of Winery was a beautiful place to behold. The walls of the palace adorned waterfalls of wine as grapevines grew between the glistening mighty royal stones. The wealth of the kingdom was rooted in the love and honor that the people shared. As a result, their lands were filled with peace, laughter and serenity . . .  until now.

One peaceful morning, as the children played within the gates of the kingdom of Winery, a looming evil force approached slowly from the distance. It was on its way to stop a ‘right’ that was preparing to prevent a terrible ‘wrong.’

The Kingdom of Winery was in the midst of hosting a grand annual celebration for the Universal Royal Assembly, where all the Kings and Queens from different kingdoms in the universe come together in alliance to honor their friendship, prosperity and strength as a united inter-universal family. The Kingdoms present at the assembly were: NuLion, Carnival Jumbies, Flavaz of D Caribbean, Ethnic Essentials, Mas Makers, Unity Mas, Caribbean Trap Crew, Soca Sirens, Goldy Mas, Rhythm & Thyme, Motley, Bahawear, BacchanalOn3, Regal Carnival, and Risqué.  Together, they were the most powerful united Assembly of Kingdoms in the Universe.

Thousands of people were visiting from their planets to enjoy the royal celebration and represent for their Kingdoms. Soca music blasted throughout the kingdom as people danced and reveled in the festivities. Food and drinks were served to everyone… roti, doubles, aloo pie, curry crab, oxtail stew, pelau, sweet plantains, callaloo, jerk chicken, souse, corn soup, sorrel, puncheon, sea moss, peanut punch, mauby, coconut water, currents roll, snow cone with condensed milk, and much more were part of the glorious feast in the celebration. 

As all the kings and queens discussed future plans in the castle of Winery, they were interrupted abruptly by a frantic and nervous royal announcer at the assembly hall entrance. He said, “Your highnesses, guests and honorable assembly members, please forgive my interruption, but I have an emergency message.“

The royal announcer presented a Winery Warrior holding a village child that was near death. The child was full of black smoke and her body was splattered with the blood of others. Her garments were torn and she could barely speak. The king of Winery stood from his throne and walked to her. He saw beautiful blue tattooed markings that lit up and glistened under her skin. Gemstones and rhinestones were embedded in her forehead, which was covered with debris and dirt.

The king looked up at the warrior that held her and said, “This is no village child from the Kingdom of Winery. Where did you find this girl?” The Winery Warrior’s words resonated through his thick mirrored mask as he spoke: “A village boy found her far out at our borders in one of the royal vineyards, just after she was sent through an energy field from the future, your highness. Our horologium instrument has estimated that this girl is from two thousand years in the future, your highness.”

The king gently put his hand on her head and said, “Speak child. What message do you have for us from the future?” With tears in her eyes and weak with breath, she said: “War is coming . . .  she is coming.”

Just as she spoke, the royal horns were blown 2 miles away and the royal assembly of Kings and Queens ran to the windows. In the distance, they saw a massive army full of beasts and soldiers charging down a mountain towards the Kingdom.

Who would be bold enough to attack the most powerful group of kingdoms in the universe?

Thousands of vicious creatures and soldiers attacked as the warriors of the various kingdoms fought for their lives. This terrible evil army was more powerful than any of the kingdoms had ever seen.

High up in the castle’s assembly hall, above the battle, the village girl’s eyes lit up with a bright fluorescent glow and her tattooed markings turned gold on her skin. She lifted her right hand in the air toward the battlefield. Powerful radiating vapors of energy and light surrounded her hand. The battlefield was suddenly filled with 3 massive energy rings, which began to open wider and wider. The edges of the rings spun with fire and glowed with a blue power that no one had ever seen before. The ground began to vibrate and out of each of the 3 energy rings embarked armies of valiant female warriors wearing armor adorned in beautiful space crystals and feathers… they were suited for the toughest battles that life challenged them with.

These female warriors had traveled through the energy rings from the future… the child, who was more powerful than everyone thought, had summoned them though the mighty gift of time travel that she possessed.

Charging out of the 1st energy ring onto the battlefield were the valiant Stunner warriors. The crystals on their armor were purple and blue, which would electrocute, stun and kill any enemy that touched it. One touch, and death was the reward. Their feathers were turquoise, purple and magenta, and the Stunner warriors used them to stab their enemies. When a feather was plucked, the tips contained a toxin that would immediately kill any being that was stabbed with it. These female warriors were as gracious as they were vicious. They were each blessed with the gift of foresight and used it to their advantage when navigating through life’s battles, especially during war.

From the 2nd energy ring, the Heartbreakers gracefully and slowly walked out onto the battlefield. The evil creatures and soldiers paused their battle, staring in awe at these gorgeous warriors. These Heartbreaker warriors were ferocious in warfare. Their armor adorned pink space crystals that were ice cold to the touch. When in battle, the crystals sent out a luring sparkle; and any time the glisten of one of their crystals caught an opponent’s eye, the enemy immediately fell in love with the pink Heartbreaker Warrior. Millions of soldiers throughout the ages have fallen in love with them, resulting in heartbreak and defeat. Any enemy that fell in love with a Heartbreaker Warrior never fought again. Love is a dangerous thing and the Heartbreakers harnessed its power with respect and honor.

Out of the 3rd energy ring floated the mighty Silver Savage warriors. Vicious, beautiful, and cunning, these incredible warriors had the ability to fly and possessed an alluring musical gift… they sang during battle. When their voices harmonized, all enemies who heard them immediately lost the ability to see. The last thing an enemy of a Silver Savage warrior heard was her beautiful voice singing him to death. Their shimmering silver and gold armor was equipped with gems from a planet that no longer existed… they freed all the captives from that planet and brought them safely back to their kingdom, which existed in the future.

Within minutes, the battle was over. The female warriors made quick work of the evil army.

The King of Winery was in awe by what he saw and immediately asked the little girl, “How did you…?” Before he could finish, she looked at the King and Queen of Winery, lifted her left hand and said to them, “We must go.”

The girl, the King, and the Queen of Winery immediately disappeared into an energy ring, as everyone in the royal assembly hall watched. All the other queens and kings from the other universes gasped in shock at what they witnessed.

At that moment, everyone in the royal assembly hall heard a deep rumbling in the distance, as the castle walls began to shake and crack. They heard the echoes of roaring beasts and what sounded like hundreds of thousands of feet approaching from far away, beyond the mountains. They looked out again from the palace… the 3 energy rings had disappeared and so did the three female warrior groups. The royal assembly could see winged beasts flying in the air approaching from miles away as a new, larger evil army approached. This war was not over . . .  it was just beginning.

The child, the King and Queen of Winery were immediately transported two thousand years in to the future. The King and Queen were surprised to see that they were witnessing the future Kingdom of Winery… and a terrible battle surrounded them. The ancient Winery castle that they lived in had been destroyed and they could see the fallen soldiers and people between the royal stones they stood on.

The sky was dark with smoke, and ash fell like black snow. There were no beautiful vineyards or waterfalls of wine. Laughter, peace and joy had not existed in the kingdom for over 2 millennia… only war. As the 3 female armies formed a massive protective circle around the girl, the King and the Queen, thousands of creatures and soldiers fought.

A frantic villager approached them, kneeled down and said, “Welcome back your highness.” The King and Queen of Winery looked confused. How did this man recognize them? They had never been here before. The young girl looked at the King and Queen of Winery and said, “I am the princess of Winery. This pit of dark warfare is what our kingdom looks like two thousand years from your present day. We have been fighting the same battle all these years… the battle that we just left was never won and never finished. That battle is destined to continue for generations if we do not change the past. I brought you to the future to assist my army in defeating our common enemy, which has tormented our family for too long. We are losing the battle. I am the only royal member left and in desperation, I traveled back in time to summon my ancestors. I need your help.” The young princess knew of the Winery Queen’s gift of discernment and the King’s ability to hear others in distant places, but that is not what she needed from them.

She took them to a secret place while escorted by the strongest warriors of the three armies. In the secret place, a small group of the surviving citizens of Winery lived desolate and dismal lives. All their clothes were old and damaged. Through the generations of warfare, they no longer knew how beautiful life could be. When they saw the Queen and King they were in awe at the beautiful royal garments they were wearing. The villagers all bowed down, knowing that these two were their royal ancestors.

The princess explained that her parents had been killed in the war and her people had discovered one powerful weapon that could stop the evil woman in the King and Queen’s present day.

She told the King and Queen that her people were protecting a small secret pond in the secret place. Around the edges of the pond were beautiful healthy vines with bright fluorescent grapes that glowed in the darkness. The secret pond was shimmering with beautiful red wine made from the grapes… it had a very special power. The wine had the ability to crystallize into a mighty Crystal Sword that could destroy the evil woman forever. The only way the wine would crystallize was if the royal hands of a King and Queen of Winery, who truly loved each other, were submerged within it. Their genuine true love and royal bond is what could trigger the crystallization of the weapon. Since the young princess was not yet married, the only way for her to awaken the weapon was to use her gift of time travel to bring the King and Queen of Winery to the secret pond.

The King and Queen held hands and submerged them into the secret pond. They both could see their reflections in the wine as they watched light and electricity form within it. It started to vibrate and bright glowing crystals began to form on the edges of the secret pond. The wine got very cold as it morphed into a structure in the center of the pond. Crystal‘s grew on top of each other into a massive 5 foot Crystal Sword… it was red and shimmering, as if cut from thousands of tiny gemstones.

When it was finished, the King and Queen were able to break their hands out of the crystals. The princess handed the Crystal Sword to the King and said, “Your highness, you will have to use this at the right moment when we go back to face the evil woman. This is the only weapon that can kill her. It’s blade must be driven into her heart. If her heart is not punctured, she will only be wounded and will live. We will escort you with our armies and position you to kill the evil woman. This is what will stop the war, saving generations after you.”

The Queen said, “Young lady, you are very brave to have traveled through time to harness this indomitable weapon. You were near death when you were brought to us. What happened before you arrived in our royal assembly hall?”

The Princess said, “When I traveled through the energy ring in to the past, I had left a terrible scene… my family and fellow citizens were being slaughtered and were losing a battle due to a terrible ambush. Even children were given weapons and fought the battle. Although I am royalty, I was fighting side by side with everyone else. I used my gift to disappear from the battle and made a decision to bring you both to the future to forge the Crystal Sword, even though I was not sure it would work. Unfortunately, when my energy ring opened into the past, I was miles away from your palace.

When I arrived, I was weak and a village boy helped me. He was being trained to be a Winery Warrior by his father. He explained to me that the kingdom of Winery prides itself in training their young boys and girls to fight through the challenges of life, starting at a very early age. The boy also explained that he had been studying various ancient strategies of war and that one day he wanted to lead the army of Winery to many victories. This boy mended my wounds and helped me to stay alive. When we found his village, his father immediately brought me to the kingdom, where a Winery Warrior took me to you. I owe my life to that boy and his father. I almost did not make it to you to save our people. Now we have the responsibility to finish this war forever.”

As the Queen looked at the Princess and held the Kings’ hand, she said, “Now, it is time. Let us go and finish this task.“

The Princess opened an energy ring and they immediately stepped into it, along with the warriors that accompanied them. She also opened 3 energy rings again for the rest of the 3 female armies on the battlefield. They also entered into the energy rings, along with some of the evil creatures and soldiers that they were fighting. All of them were on their way back to the present day to change history.

When they all arrived and exited the energy rings, the Kingdom of Winery was on fire and the battle had now taken a terrible turn for the worse. In the middle of the battle the evil woman could be seen laughing as she easily swept soldiers to their deaths. She was a terrible sight to see. The three female armies surrounded the King, Queen and Princess as they headed straight for the evil woman.

The evil woman saw them coming and she activated a powerful gift that she possessed. It was a small jar filled with toxic stardust gathered from a rare galaxy that she once destroyed. When activated, the stardust had the ability to temporarily stop the gifts of others from working. Any warrior that was exposed to the stardust lost their special powers and ability to fight. She poured the stardust into her hand and threw it into the wind. It blew over the battlefield, on to every being that fought. The 3 female warrior groups were immediately powerless. The army was now defenseless and the King, Queen and Princess stood in the middle of all of it.

The King pulled out the Crystal Sword and attacked the evil woman. She immediately caught the blade with her hands. Laughing at the King, she said, “You fools. I have seen this moment all the way from the future. This little girl is not the only one that can travel through the stars of time. Thank you for bringing me this deadly mighty sword.”

The Queen of Winery thrusted her sword towards the evil woman, but the evil soldiers pulled her back just before her blade could penetrate her armor. Five evil soldiers held the King down as the evil woman pried the powerful Crystal sword from his hands.

Some of the evil soldiers were seated on horses, some of them sat on beasts, and some of them stood on the ground as they all pointed their swords. The evil woman slowly lifted the Crystal Sword in the air to behead the Queen and said, “Your love is the only reason why a weapon like this exists. There is no love in my heart, therefore, I could never have created this mighty weapon. You are one half of a powerful union with your King and all I need to do to ensure that the future always remains under my reign, is to demolish one of you.“

As she pointed the Crystal Sword to the heavens, preparing to descend it upon the Queen, an unexpected blade from one of the evil soldiers on a horse swiftly sliced the evil woman’s arm in half. As the evil woman screamed in pain, the evil soldier jumped off his horse, grabbed the Crystal Sword and stabbed the evil woman in her heart. The creatures and evil soldiers, all under the spell of the evil woman, immediately fell to the ground and disintegrated into dust. The only one left standing amongst the ashes of the evil army was the soldier that had killed the evil woman. Standing only 4 feet tall, he took off his helmet and looked at the princess. It was the young village boy. He had once again saved her life.

Days later, at the Universal Royal Assembly, the kings and queens commenced their celebrations; this time, commemorating their victory. They brought the princess to the center of the assembly room and honored her with gifts and garments from kingdoms all over the universe.

That evening, during the celebrations, she had a moment to talk with the boy that had saved the battle. He too, was honored during the celebrations for his courage and cunning strategy that won the war. He said to the princess, “Your highness, I vow to always protect you and be at your side, if you wish.“ Unbeknownst to anyone, the young boy was gifted with wisdom beyond his age. He did not know it yet, but he was destined to be a great leader of many. He said to her, “If you would allow me the privilege, I would like to go with you back to your kingdom in the future and help you with anything you need as you lead our people.” The princess smiled and held his hand. She said, “This battle has taught me an important lesson: The power of two hands can change the world in a way that one hand could never. Yes, you may come.“

Years later, while the King and Queen of Winery were walking in the peaceful vineyards of the kingdom with their grandchildren, a small energy ring opened up in front of them. Out of the energy ring appeared a bottle of wine with a letter wrapped around it. The letter said:

“Your Highnesses,

This is the Queen of Winery from the future. I thank you so much for all that you did to save our mighty kingdom. The Kingdom of Winery continues to be at peace and our legacy of strength lives on. Our lives are filled with wine, laughter and joy. The greatest gift that I received from your kingdom was the courageous boy from the village. He has kept his promise and has been at my side for many years.

I have made him my King and together we share the blessing of a deep and true love that shall guide this kingdom into a prosperous future. Today, we celebrate our love, which resulted from the victorious battle in our kingdom so many years ago. The wine I sent you is from our grand celebration to commemorate our union. It has been aged over two thousand years!

As you know, in the Kingdom of Winery, a celebration is never complete without ‘serving the finest wines & wickedest vibes.’ Cheers!”
