Trinidad-born artist Miles Regis, prolific in both fine art and fashion design, may be best known for his large-scale mixed media paintings that embrace storytelling with his stylized renditions of fundamental scenes of love, loss, freedom, survival, activism, and living history. Known for his incorporation of dimensional collage elements such as denim, buttons, leather, printed matter, sequins, and patches of eclectically sourced found textiles, Regis stuck with the fundamentals, acrylic, oil and spray paint, for his 2020 piece, "Better Days".
