Born and raised in Grenada, Mr. Banks, owner of the new OnPointttt Jerk Chicken food truck has taken his well know Jerk Chicken on the road. Coming from humble beginnings, as a young man, he learned to man the grill in Grenada from his late father. Mr. Banks- "Everyone knows I love to cook!" He is known throughout the Southern California West Indian community for dishes including but not limited to Oil Down (a traditional Grenadian meal), Spicy Shrimp (his own creation), Curry and best of all his Jerk Chicken.

For years, during the annual Guyanese Kite Flying Picnic held on Easter Sunday at Angel's Gate Park in San Pedro, he would bring his famous marinated meat and grill all day while giving plates away to all who wanted, free of charge. There are rave reviews from all who tasted the smokey, spicy yet moist succulent chicken. After years of perfecting his recipe, the decision to open a food truck was inherent.

This truck highlights Jerk Chicken with the delicious vegetarian sides of Baked Beans, Potato Salad and freshly Baked Bread. True to Los Angeles fashion there is also a Jerk Chicken Taco that rivals tacos throughout Southern California. The name OnPointttt was birthed from the most common response from those who have tasted this delight,
